Southeast Texas Hospice Mission Statement: Transform dying into the final act of living well.

The Southeast Texas Hospice was incorporated in 1976 and served the first patient/family in 1979. We are the first hospice in the State of Texas and
one of the first twenty in the United States. The Southeast Texas Hospice is a founding member of the National Hospice Organization and the Texas
Hospice Organization. The Southeast Texas Hospice is commited to improving end of life care for individual patients and their families. We strive to alleviate the suffering of
terminally ill persons and to emotionally support family members. Hospice chooses to make each day count, and to provide a peaceful and dignified death
with loved ones in attendance.

Join Southeast Texas Hospice on Thursday, December 11th from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm at 912 W. Cherry in downtown Orange and help restock their shelves with donations of everyday essentials to support the needs of patients and families throughout our community.

This contribution ensures the families receiving hospice care enjoy a full, traditional Thanksgiving meal at home!
