Local Health Care Worker Inducted into Hall of Fame
The leadership of CMS 5-star rated Orange Rehabilitation and Health Care Center announced recently that one of their dedicated staff members, Maria Rodriguez, has been inducted into the Connecticut Certified Nursing Assistants Hall of Fame. The honor, this year bestowed upon just six deserving nominees from around the state by the Connecticut Chapter of the American College of Health Care Administrators, recognizes the dedication and service by these outstanding health care professionals.
Roriguez has dedicated over 29 years of exceptional service to the short-term rehabilitative and long-term care residents of Orange Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. The center’s administrator, Andree Acampora, who has been a part of the facility’s leadership for over 30 years, shared “Throughout her remarkable career, Maria has exemplified the highest standards of care, compassion and commitment to our residents. Her caring nature is evident in everything she does- from assisting with daily activities to offering emotional support to both residents and their families.”
Acampora continued, “Maria has a unique ability to connect with everyone, taking the time to truly understand their needs and offering personalized care. Whether it’s providing comfort during difficult times, helping residents engage in meaningful activities or simply offering a quick joke or lighthearted quip, her years of experience make her a trusted source of comfort to many and an invaluable resource to our community.”
Roddriguez shared, “It’s such an honor to be inducted into the CNA Hall of Fame, and an honor to work at Orange Health Care Center for the past 29 years. I couldn’t imagine a better place to work.”
