🚁 One GMR in Action 🚑

Today, a patient requiring emergent air transport from MUSC Health Emergency Room - Orangeburg to MUSC Health Columbia Medical Center Downtown was unable to tolerate air transport. Without hesitation, the Meducare 4 - Orangeburg, SC crew seamlessly transitioned to ground transport using a Lifeguard Ambulance Service of the Carolinas ambulance ensuring the patient’s safe and timely arrival at the destination.

This is a perfect example of “One GMR” demonstrating our integrated teamwork, flexibility, and commitment to patient care across South Carolina.

While the patient was transported by ground, Pilot Randy continued to the destination to retrieve the crew, preventing any service delays and keeping operations efficient.

To the the brave soul who somehow manages this caffeine-addicted, radio-sarcastic, sleep-deprived flight crew, thanks for backing us up even when you probably shouldn’t, and calling it “teamwork” when it’s really controlled chaos. You’re the glue, the calm, and the occasional eye roll that holds this circus together — and we wouldn’t trade you for anything — all while pretending everything’s “fine.” You keep us grounded (when we have to be) and airborne when it counts. We appreciate you more than an on-time lift and an uneventful chart audit. 😎🚁
