SUPPLES, Ann M.
It is with deepest heartfelt sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Ann Marie Supples born on March 13,1937 and entering into the gates of heaven on May 4, 2026. Ann was best known for being called Sister Annie by all of her church family members and Gazi by her family and close family friends. She was a devoted woman of God that found purpose in scripture, prayer and song. Her faith in the Lord gave her purpose and wisdom which she used to help those who needed spiritual direction. She was very involved in her church and labored in love with her spectacular cleaning abilities. Everyone recognized her as a “true pillar.” Her kind, gentle, giving, selfless nature made it very easy to love her. She loved unconditionally and she followed very closely the scripture “Judge not lest Ye be judged.” She had no material wealth but the love and spiritual riches she possessed can not be measured. Nobody will ever fill her shoes. I share with you a few encouraging words from her Pastor Tony Wozniak “ Our Late Dearest and beloved sister Annie, now numbers among the faithful assembly of the saints and innumerable company of angels, interceding with Jesus from the banisters of heaven and rooting us in the good fight, to finish well the race set before us. Annie is now looking onto Jesus the author and finisher of
her faith who endured the cross and who is now set down at the right hand of the throne of God.Let us continue steadfast in our prayers for her family and her flock that are so deeply affected by her loss. Let us pray.” She is survived by her Daughter Annette (Rick) North, Grandchildren Dr. Carm (David) Seitz, Ashley Rae’ North. Great Grandchildren Ryan, Liam, Virginia
(Gina), Theodore, Jacky and Andre. Other loving family members include: Blair, Heather, Bailey and Colin Chalfin, Her Sister Betty and nephew David (Ethelyn), Late Sister Ellie (Joe), Late brother Frank, Late Sister Margaret and Nephew Chet (Julie). Our family gives much gratitude and thanks to Annies church family that she loved so very dearly. They were such an amazing support system filled with love, compassion and true devotion especially when Annie was facing her most challenging trials and tribulations. Much gratitude also to her Fallon Health team for all their constant care. Visitation for all family and friends Friday May, 8,2026 4-7 PM at James Cannan Funeral Home 3155 Orchard Park Rd, Orchard Park, NY 14127. Online condolences at www.CANNANFH.com

HOBOT, Joseph F.
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Joseph (Joe) F. Hobot, beloved husband of Joan Hobot, son of the late Matthew and Laura Hobot, and brother of the late Edward (Gloria) Hobot, the late Florence (Daniel) Kozlowski, and the late Dorothy (Robert) Bauer. Joe was a devout Catholic and Veteran who genuinely cared for everyone he met and someone who was very easy to love in return. He was born on October 31, 1936 in Buffalo, NY, and passed peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at his home in West Seneca, NY. Through his journey of 89 years, he touched many people with his humor, wisdom, and a true love for life.

One year after graduating from High School, and driven by determination and tenacity, Joe joined the Navy on the U.S.S. Ranger in 1957, on the world’s first “super” carrier ever assigned to duty within the Pacific Fleet. He was a proud Veteran and continued to stay in touch with his crewmates until the time of their passing.

He went on to work as a Teller and Mortgage Credit Examiner at Liberty Bank in the 1960s, a Loan Management and Mortgage Credit Officer Marine Midland Bank in the 1970s, and then a Mortgage Credit Underwriter and an Asset & Project Manager with Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in the 1980s and through to his retirement. He even owned his own wedding invitation business, ‘Starlight Printing,’ which he operated out of his home for a period of time. In the 1970s, while he was established in his career and raising a family, he enrolled in University and graduated with a degree in Business Administration. Throughout his entire life he was never afraid to continue learning in the pursuit of growth, happiness, and leaving an impact on this world.

He constantly inspired his family and friends to keep trying new things and also taught us the importance of slowing down and just having fun in life.

Among the many milestones of his well-lived life, his family will remember him most as being a loving and devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, and cousin, a playful grandfather and great-grandfather, a highly skilled gardener, the man who always lovingly hounded you to take your vitamins, the best bingo buddy you could ask for, and an unfailingly kind and loyal friend.

Joe's legacy of humor, perseverance, and learning will be carried forward by those who had the privilege of knowing him. His remarkable life will forever be an inspiration, a testament to the power of a kind-hearted spirit enthused with curiosity and resilience.

He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Joan Hobot, his daughter, Jennifer (Kenneth) Kelchlin, his son Jason (Maureen) Hobot, his grandchildren, Chelsey (Nick) Zoyhofski, Rachelle (Michael) Ferger, Maranda Hobot, and Shane Hobot, and his great-grandchildren, Connor, Parker, and Cameryn. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered by all who knew him.

A memorial service celebrating Joe's exceptional life will be held on Thursday, April 30th from 3:00-7:00 pm at James W. Cannan Funeral Home, Inc. (3155 Orchard Park Road, Orchard Park, NY 14127). ROHLOFF, Raymond C.
April 8, 1946 — April 9, 2026
Raymond C. Rohloff, affectionately known to friends and family as "Big Ray"
or "Ray Dizzle," passed away peacefully on April 9, 2026, surrounded by the
love of his family. He had just reached two incredible milestones: his 80th
birthday and his 54th wedding anniversary.
A graduate of West Seneca High School, Ray answered the call to service
early in life, serving with honor in the United States Navy during the Vietnam
War. His time in the service instilled in him a sense of duty and resilience that
he carried into his long and successful career at General Motors.
Ray spent many years on the sidelines as a volunteer football coach for
Airlanes Jr Football. He took great pride in mentoring young players,
teaching them the value of hard work and sportsmanship.
In his retirement, Ray found his "happy place" in Florida with his wife Anita,
surrounded by many friends, old and new. He enjoyed the warmth and the
relaxed pace of life, though his heart always remained deeply connected to
his family. His greatest achievement was his 54-year marriage to his beloved
wife, Anita; their bond was a testament to true partnership and devotion.
Ray was a beloved husband to and survived by Anita Rohloff nee Fortini
father to Joy (Chuck) Katra, Maria (Corey) Simon and Michael (Sarina)
Rohloff. Beloved "Poppie" to Emma, Lily, Kennedy, Jayden, Melina & Santino
whom he cherished. Oldest brother to Sue (Gary)Dobstaff, David Rohloff,
Larry (Janet) Rohloff, Dawn (Joe) Fabianski, Candice (Gary) Lewis & late
Ronald Rohloff. Devoted Brother-in-Law to Maria and his best buddy Frank
Szefler, Ruth & Late Leslie Kuntar, Late John & Anna Fortini. Uncle to
countless Nieces and Nephews whom he adored. Whether he was being the
coach everyone looked up to or the family man who kept everyone laughing,
"Big Ray" was a pillar of strength who will be deeply missed.

BARRY, Patricia Lynne (Both), 79,resident of West Seneca, NY, entered into the presence of the Lord on April 2, 2026. S...

BARRY, Patricia Lynne (Both),
79,resident of West Seneca, NY, entered into the presence of the Lord on April 2, 2026. She was born on January 27, 1947, in Far Rockaway, NY, to Francis and Rosemary Both. She passed away peacefully at home, with family, as she wished. She was known as Pat, Patricia, Pat the Nurse, Mrs. Barry, Lynne, Lynsey, Ya-Ya, Mom, and GG – different names for the same profoundly loving person.

Born and raised on Long Island, Pat graduated as a Registered Nurse from St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing in Elmira, NY. Committed to growing in her profession, she later graduated from Daemon College with a BSN. It was during nursing school that she met Jim Barry, her future husband. They were married at St. Peter & Paul Church in January 1969. They shared a devoted and loving commitment to one another for 57 years, raised two daughters, and delighted in two grandsons.

Pat made her life full to the brim, pouring love into her home and family. She was rich in friendships and relationships – her “sisters and daughters from other mothers,” her YaYas, her neighbors, and her church community at St. John Vianney. Pat and Jim loved to travel, visiting almost all 50 states and ranging abroad, soaking in histories and local foods, with an eye out for botanical gardens wherever they might find them. Pat had busy hands for gardening, sewing, cooking, and baking. She was a vigorous home-maker and made a home, through her everyday actions, that was a magic circle of care for her family and with doors open to all.

In her long career as a nurse, Pat worked in a variety of specialties including the Emergency Room, medical-surgical settings, oncology, home care, and community health. Professionally, Pat was compassionate, intelligent, and intuitive. She was a loving advocate for her patients. She held close the stories of her patients; she told and retold them with love. With a grateful and appreciative heart, she accepted the care of nurses and physicians that followed her diagnosis of liver cancer.

Pat lived a life rooted in faith. The endless love and care God gave her to share and pour into others is her legacy. She was involved in multiple ministries at St. John Vianney, with the Garden Club and its members closest to her heart.

She is survived by her husband, Jim; her children Melissa (Doug) and Kelly (Nitu); the apples of her eyes, grandsons Sean and Ish; her brothers Kevin and Brian; her sisters-in-law Kathi, Jane, Rosie, Ellen, and Mary Frances; and other close family and friends.

A memorial will be held at the James W. Cannan Funeral Home on Friday, May 1, 2026, from 2-5pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John Vianney (2950 Southwestern Blvd. Orchard Park, NY 14127) on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 9:30am. A light reception will follow in the school gymnasium.

In her work as a community health and geriatric nurse, Pat knew and admired the mission of making end-of-life care a transformative experience for individuals and their families.
A living tribute, respectfully requested in lieu of flowers, may be directed to Hospice and Palliative Care Buffalo using the following link: https://tributesofremembrance.hospicebuffalo.com/
