Board Certified Holistic Nutritionist, Certified in Functional Genomics, Certified AIP Coach & Trauma-Sensitive Certified HeartMath Practioner specializing in gut health and nutrigenomics. I graduated with honors from Bauman College of Holistic Nutrition and Culinary Arts. I am a proud member of The National Association of Nutrition Professionals which ensures I stay up to date on all the most recent and relevant health information. Eating for Health is not about fad diets and it's certainly not a cookie-cutter formula. As a Holistic Nutritionist, I look at each person individually and take into account nutritional issues, environmental issues, metabolic issues, lifestyle/emotional issues, and toxicity. I am all about education and teach you everything you need to know about your health issues, and how food, lifestyle, and stress affect your health. I create custom meal plans based on your nutritional needs, likes, and lifestyle. With the education and tools I provide, you will look at food differently, be more aware of how certain foods/ingredients make you feel, learn how to manage stress, and improve your mood. FYI…prescription Leucovorin is folinic acid which is available over the counter from high quality supplement brands. But unlike a high quality supplement, this prescription form contains lactose and FD&C yellow No. 6 which is a synthetic, orange-yellow azo dye (also known as Sunset Yellow FCF) approved for use in food, drugs, and cosmetics to provide color. It is synthesized from coal tar and petroleum, creating a bright orange-yellow pigment used in products like orange-flavored beverages, chips, and medications. There are concerns about this artificial color linked to hyperactivity in children.
