Pet Heaven Funeral Home

Pet Heaven Funeral Home Pet Heaven Funeral Home provides a choice for clients with their pets’ afterlife care. We are a division of DGS of WNY located in Buffalo, NY.

Our trained, certified staff understands how important it is to properly say goodbye to every member of your pet family. Pets bring so much love, joy, and happiness to us that they are often considered family members. When a beloved pet dies, the loss can be devastating. During this time of loss, pet owners expect a very high level of care for their pet and many seek the same level of care for the

ir pet as they do for their human family members. Unfortunately for decades and even still to this day, there is a significant lack of information available to guide grieving families for their pets afterlife care. Service levels and operational practices vary greatly between cremation providers with quality not assured. This is extremely concerning to us especially because it is very challenging for pet owners to find accurate information regarding their pets aftercare. We want your beloved pet family to be handled with the utmost respect and dignity that they deserve.

Want a super easy way to help homeless dogs?

We go through tons of paper towels at the shelter—AND we love the cardboard tubes they leave behind! These tubes are perfect for dog enrichment activities (we don’t use toilet paper rolls- just the longer paper towel ones).

So next time you finish a roll, don’t toss it—save it and donate it to the Niagara SPCA! It’s a small gesture that makes a big difference for our pups.

🐶💛 Thank you for supporting our shelter dogs in clever little ways!

This is great to know about service dogs!🐾

This is extremely concerning to us especially because it is very challenging for pet owners to find accurate information regarding their pets aftercare. We want your beloved pet family to be handled with the utmost respect and dignity that they deserve. Be an informed pet parent, ask questions, and demand detailed answers. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

What should I do if my pet dies at home?

Unfortunately, death can happen at any time. First thing is to give yourself a moment to grieve. Losing a pet is extremely difficult and sometimes pet parents make rash decisions when emotions are high. For some people, it is best to contact a friend or family member to help you emotionally and/or physically through this process. If cremation is the option you decide, you are welcome to call us to make an appointment to bring your pet in to us. If our business is closed, you can email us at info@PetHeavenFuneralHome.com us or text our mobile phone at 716-984-4687 and we will help answer any questions you may have. If you cannot bring your pet directly to us, we can arrange a pick-up at either your home or your veterinarian. It is always advisable to place the body in an airtight plastic container or wrap them tightly in a blanket. If small enough, they can be stored in a cool, dry area until it is time to transport the pet.
