Tammy Lyn Davis, LMHC I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) and received my degree from Canisius College. My goal is to assist you toward a happier and healthier future

My approach includes being that "someone" that can assist you on your journey toward a happier and mentally healthier future. Mental health includes a state of well-being in which an individual realizes his or her own potential in coping with life's many stressors and can work productively while contributing to his or her community. In a safe and respectful environment we can journey together to identify and work through past and present experiences that cause distress, irrational thinkning, and unstable mood. I utilize an approach that incorporates a multitude of theories including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and reality therapy. Common topics:

Bipolar Disorder
Anxiety
Divorce/Separation
Self-esteem Building
Anger Management
Relationship Issues/Couples Counseling
Adjustment Disorders including blended families, transition to adulthood/college, retirement, and other life changing transitions.

ATTENTION! SERVICE DOG HANDLERS!
We are excited to announce the launch of a Peer-to-Peer Support Group for veterans who are just beginning life with their new service dog. Our goal is to create a safe, supportive space where new placements can hear directly from those who have already walked this path.

We would love to invite you to participate by:

Speaking to new placements about your journey,

Sharing openly about any struggles you may have faced, and

Offering advice on how you overcame those challenges.

Meeting Schedule:

Every 2nd Tuesday of the month at 5:00 PM – beginning September 9, 2025

Every 4th Friday of the month at 9:00 AM – beginning September 26, 2025

Your voice and experience could make all the difference in helping another veteran adjust, gain confidence, and build a strong bond with their service dog.
