We just got our new furniture delivered for the front room – it's really comfortable and cozy.

But here's the thing – the furniture is just a small part of what we're creating here.

The feel we're going for is a place where it's not tense or stressful. We're serious about our work and taking care of you professionally, but we also have a good time.

Everybody feels at ease when they're laughing or joking about something or talking about their kids. We're creating an environment where people feel comfortable.

Sometimes when someone wants veneers, we need to talk about Invisalign first.

If there's overlapping or shifting where teeth aren't straight, sometimes we can do veneers over the top. But sometimes we need to move those teeth with Invisalign first to make positioning ideal, then move into cosmetic work.

Here's why this matters – typically, veneers last longer if the bite is in ideal position.

Usually, chipping and breaking happened in the first place BECAUSE the bite isn't ideal. Teeth don't fit into each other properly. If we just cover those teeth with veneers without addressing the underlying position problem, we're setting them up to chip or break again.

Sometimes we can move teeth with orthodontic treatment then evaluate whether cosmetic dentistry is needed. Other times we move all teeth into a better position then do cosmetic work just on the ones that show when you smile.

It's about creating a result that's not just beautiful, but functional and long-lasting.

I know it might feel like extra steps when you just want prettier teeth right away. But doing it right means your veneers will look better and last much longer.

One huge advantage of having four doctors in our practice – you don't just get one opinion. You can get two or three or four, depending on what's needed.

We're constantly bouncing ideas around, asking each other for input, sharing experience and thoughts about cases.
