Why does a dental implant take so long? Because we're not just replacing a tooth — we're rebuilding a foundation.
Bone type, placement, and healing all factor in. After a tooth is removed, we often bone graft first (4 months to integrate), then place the implant (another 4–8 months to fuse with the bone). Only then comes the crown.
Average start to finish? About 10 months.
It's slower on purpose — because doing it right lasts a lifetime.
