🎬 📺 Excitement is in the air for the 81st Golden Globes! 🏆🌎 Our residents have been following movies and TV (and the red-carpet fashions) for decades – and tonight is no exception. ​​

Celebrate the glitz and glamour, and toast the winners with this award-worthy cocktail at your viewing party. ​​

🥂The Golden Fizz🥂​​

4 ounces brut champagne (or sparkling cider)​
2 ounces ginger turmeric tea​
1/2 ounce honey syrup​
1/2 ounce lemon juice​4 drops cardamom bitters​
Garnish: dehydrated lemon wheel​​

Build in a wine glass, add ice and gently stir ingredients with bar spoon. Top with floater of champagne. Garnish and serve.​​

1️⃣ Keep Moving: Don't let an hour go by without moving - whether it's a quick stroll, gentle yoga, or light stretches, keep your body in motion to maintain flexibility and strength.
2️⃣ Eat Your Veggies (and Fruits!): Make sure there's at least one bright colorful fruit or vegetable on your plate to complement those whole grains and lean proteins.
3️⃣ Hydrate, Hydrate! Say cheers to more energy and better digestion, one sip at a time. Set a timer on your phone or watch to remind you to drink water at least every half hour.
4️⃣ Mindful Moments: Keep stress at bay with techniques like meditation or deep breathing. Apps like Headspace or Calm can show you the way.
5️⃣ Social Connection: Take time to be with your fellow humans. Whether it's meeting for coffee, playing a game, or joining a book club, every moment of connection counts.
