What do we cover in Qigong class?
* Acupressure for common areas or points of the body that produce therapeutic results or prime us for a good Qigong practice
* Warmups and archetypical movements and patterns that assist us in learning about ourselves or Qigong movements
* How to breathe and how breathing can influences other systems and feelings in the body
* Qigong forms - we're primarily learning Shibashi Qigong, which is a extremely powerful set of movements designed to help us relax, regain strength, and develop sensitivity to inside and outside our bodies.
* Compare and contrast various Qigong movements to Tai Chi, Xingyi, and Bagua postures - mostly for fun, but also to enable multiple paradigms of viewing movements from
* Tai Chi fundamentals - standing, weight shifting, turning, circling, walking, and circle walking.
* How to fart silently in class so no one can hear. (Congrats if you made it this far).
Have a nice day! There's more, but I thought I'd give a nice overview of the material for those who are unaware.
