Gilman Grove is proud to honor and celebrate Arab American Heritage Month through meaningful opportunities to learn, create, and connect. 🌍✨

Throughout the month, our residents and team members are engaging in educational experiences like a music presentation highlighting Arab American artists and their lasting impact on the music industry, an interactive art hour inspired by traditional Arab patterns, and a special presentation that brings awareness to Arab American stories and lived experiences.

Happy National Pet Day! 🐾

Today we’re celebrating the furry friends who bring so much joy, comfort, and companionship to our residents and team members here at Gilman Grove. 💛

These photos are a special collection of memories from the past two years — from adorable puppies all grown up, to beloved pets of our team, and highlights from the Gilman Grove Dog Show. Each one tells a story of love, connection, and the happiness animals bring into our community every single day.

We also want to give a special shoutout to our unpictured bunny residents and the wonderful pet therapy visitors who brighten our days in so many meaningful ways! 🐰🐶

A big thank you to Clackamas Fire for visiting Gilman Grove and presenting on Fire and Fall Safety! 🚒

This was such a valuable and relevant opportunity for our community and residents—an important reminder of how we can all better prevent risks and protect ourselves and those around us.

We also enjoyed some delicious charcuterie and appreciated all the goodies shared by the Clackamas Fire Dept. Thank you again for your time, knowledge, and commitment to keeping our community safe!

Our Easter Brunch Buffet was a beautiful celebration of good food and even better company! 🌷🍽️ From eggs benedict and spinach & feta quiche to crispy hashbrowns, fresh strawberries, juicy watermelon, mixed berry cobbler, and classic deviled eggs—there was something for everyone to enjoy.

Resident Spotlight: Celebrating a very special milestone—Linda’s 8-year anniversary at Gilman Grove 💛

Linda’s connection to our community goes back even further than her time as a resident. Her mother lived here years ago, and Linda remembers visiting her and hearing, “I’ve got to go, bingo is starting!” Those joyful memories made Gilman Grove feel like home long before she moved in.

Linda recalls that she spent much of her time reading quietly in her room when she moved in. Over the years, though, she’s become a very active and engaged member of the community—and we couldn’t agree more!

These days, you’ll often find Linda participating in activities and outings, sometimes joined by her granddaughter. It’s always so special to see those moments of connection and joy shared together.

Thank you, Linda, for being such a meaningful part of our community for the past 8 years. We’re so glad you’re here. 🌸
