15 years ago this week I began my Zumba Instructor journey and it changed my life! For the first time I really believed that I was good at something. But not only that - I was good at something that made other people happy and healthy!

I’ve made so many friends and had so many adventures - I’ve taught at resorts in Mexico, in front of over 1,000 other instructors, at parties… so, so many things and amazing memories. I’m truly grateful for Zumba ❤️

Did you know…? Dancing simultaneously releases seratonin, dopamine, and oxytocin (the make-you-happy chemicals) while also lowering cortisol. When done in a group setting, it creates interbrain synchrony that strengthens social bonds. Researchers are now recommending dance as front-line treatment for depression.

No wonder we’re such a happy bunch! 😊
