We're excited to announce the installation of our first da Vinci 5 surgical robot. The da Vinci 5 robots are the most advanced surgical systems offered in the da Vinci line. The addition of this state-of-the-art technology to our hospital, as well as the addition of da Vinci 5 surgical robots across our health system, makes ProMedica the first in the Midwest and third in the world to adopt this technology system-wide. Installations are currently underway at ProMedica facilities across northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan, and they are expected to be completed by the end of August.
