We just wrapped up our Floor Hockey unit last week and will be entering our Volleyball + Nitro Ball units this week!

Bowling Unit: Town and Country Lanes (Mt. Morris)

As part of our bowling unit, the OJSHS PE classes will travel to Town & Country Lanes in Mt. Morris beginning on Tuesday, April 1st. The cost will be $15 which is for all 3 days. This money includes the shoe rental and bowling while we are out at Town & Country, but your child is welcome to bring extra money to purchase snacks from the concession stands and/or vending machines. We will also just wear our street clothes during the bowling unit instead of changing into our PE uniforms. If your child misses a day, we will refund $5 for every day missed at the end of our bowling unit.

March 26th (3rd, 6th, 7th hours)
April 9th (2nd hour)
April 10th (3rd, 6th, 7th hours)
April 13th (2nd hour)
April 14th (3rd, 6th, 7th hours)

Please send cash or check for $15 (made payable to Town and Country Lanes) in an envelope with your child’s name on it by Friday, March 20th. This should be turned into your child’s PE teacher. If you have any questions please email bcarlson@ocusd.net (7th grade) or coneil@ocusd.net (8th grade).

A huge thank you to Sgt. 1st Class Nicholas Lavender with the National Guard for spending the day with our Jr. High PE students!

Students had the opportunity to compete and learn a little bit more about what the military has to offer.
