🌟 Therapist Spotlight: Meet Chase! 🌟

We’re excited to highlight one of the incredible counseling interns on our Innsaei team ✨

👦👧 With years of experience supporting kids and teens—as an RBT, youth mentor, and even a P.E. teacher—Chase brings a ton of heart and energy into his sessions.

He provides therapy in both English AND Spanish 💬—something our community deeply values.

🌎 Fun fact: Chase lived in Buenos Aires, Argentina, for two years where he learned Castellano—that’s Argentinian Spanish 🇦🇷✨

✨ Outside the office, you’ll probably find him hiking a mountain, running, playing sports, or lost in a good book.

His mission? To create healthy, joyful connections that inspire healing and a more satisfying life. 💙

🙌 Drop a comment to show Chase some love!

💞 Bonding & Attachment is where it all begins.

🎉 Want to go deeper? Join Playful Connections — our parenting workshop packed with creative tools to reduce power struggles, boost cooperation, and bring the joy (and laughter) back to your family.

🌟Before kids (and adults) feel safe enough to open up… they need to feel safe just being with us.

This week, we're kicking off our 3-part Power of Play series with a focus on bonding & attachment — because connection doesn't start with deep talks… it often starts with a hand puppet. 🧤🃏

You know the moment — someone's zoned out, scrolling, shut down…

Then someone else leans in and says (with a goofy puppet voice):
"Hey… wanna play cards?"

💛 That's how it begins.
Not with pressure.
Not with perfection.
But with presence.

Because play says: "You're safe. You matter. I'm with you."

👇 Want to bring more of that kind of connection into your life?
🎟️ Join us for the Playful Connections Workshop on May 31st. 10am to 12pm — a hands-on, therapist-led event in Orem to help you reconnect through joy, presence, and play.

🌟 Pillar 5: Trust in Your Child's Inner Wisdom 🌟

The final pillar in our Conscious Parenting series is one of the most powerful—and one of the hardest.

Instead of solving, directing, or controlling…
We pause.
We witness.
We trust that our child already holds their own answers. 🌀

✨ This post invites you to:
🧠 Resist the urge to fix
🗣️ Empower their voice
💪 Recognize resilience
💬 And try simple, powerful parent practices like:
— A trust-building affirmation
— A "Letting Go" ritual
— A self-inquiry question that shifts perspective

💡 What if our job isn't to shape the path—but to honor the one they're already walking?
This is the heart of sacred parenting. 💖

👇 Drop a 💬 if this series helped you reframe your parenting approach.
📌 Save for your next "I want to jump in and fix it" moment.
🔄 Share with another conscious parent in your life!

When our child struggles, it's so tempting to jump in and fix it — to smooth the way, solve the problem, ease their frustration.

But sometimes the most loving thing we can do is simply stay beside them. 🌿

Not rushing.
Not rescuing.
Just being steady, patient, and believing they'll find their own way.

🧱 This is Pillar 5: Trust in Your Child's Inner Wisdom.
It's not about stepping back and abandoning them.
It's about holding the space, gently and bravely, while they grow their own strength.

You don't have to carry them.
You don't have to fix it.
You just have to stay. 💛

🎥 Watch the reel above — and if this spoke to you today, let us know in the comments.

✨ You don't need all the answers.

You just need to believe your child already holds theirs. 🌱
This week, try pausing before offering advice.

Instead of: "Let me tell you what to do…"

Try:
💬 "What do you feel would help right now?"
These small moments build big trust—
🧠 Trust in you.
💛 Trust in themselves.

Sometimes, the most powerful thing we can offer our children… is our presence. 💛

Not advice. Not correction.

Just deep, attuned listening — the kind that helps them feel truly safe and seen.

In our latest reel, we explore a simple practice: 3 minutes of reflective listening — a tool that can shift connection in powerful ways.

Pillar 3: Non-Judgment & Open Reflection 💬✨

When our kids open up, they're not always asking for a fix — sometimes they just need us to stay, listen, and hold space. 🫶

But let's be honest — staying curious instead of correcting takes practice. That's why this week's tools are all about creating emotional room for your child to feel without fear of judgment.

🛠️ Try these parent-friendly tools:
🔄 Reframe judgment → "What might be underneath this behavior?"
🎭 Role-play tough convos before they happen
❓ Practice open-ended questions like,
👉 "What is this feeling telling you?"
💛 When kids feel safe being fully seen, they stop hiding parts of themselves.

🗣️ Which one will you try first this week?

✨ Emotional Boundaries & Self-Awareness ✨

Before we can truly show up for others, we must first check in with ourselves. This series invites you to pause, reflect, and build the tools to honor your own capacity—so that support flows from a place of presence, not pressure.

👣 Learn how to recognize your limits
🧭 Practice tuning into your inner signals
🛑 Say a clear yes—or a guilt-free no
📝 Explore simple exercises to build emotional clarity

These are skills we can all grow into—especially as parents, caregivers, and compassionate humans. 💙

💬 What's one way you check in with yourself before supporting someone else?
Share in the comments—we'd love to hear your insights! 💭

💾 Save this post if it resonates, and share it with someone who might need a reminder to breathe before they give.

You are not a bad parent for needing rest.💕

You're not broken because you have a breaking point.

You are a person first — and your needs matter too. 🧠
