When I first decorated my room, I worried about including a Christus and a picture of Christ. Would it be too much? Would people feel excluded? But then I remembered why I started doing massage in the first place - God called me to it. Healing comes from Christ. If a Buddha can bring peace to a room, why can't a Christus? This space is for everyone, and I hope it brings you peace.

Who's more likely to spot skin cancer, your family doctor or massage therapist? Although we are not actively looking for moles or skin cancer, as a massage therapist we see a lot more of your body than most doctors will ever see. In the rare instance that we see something suspicious, we will tell you. We are obviously not Dermatologists and are no replacement for them but we are sometimes the first to notice. If you would like us to keep an eye out for anything looking suspicious, please let us know and we will.

20 years ago today my sister went in for a routine marcaine injection for pain in her shoulder/neck and headaches. The nurse who gave her the injection forgot to aspirate and hit a blood vessel. This caused my sister to go into grand mal seizures, respiratory arrest, cardiac arrest, they induced a coma and she had a stroke while in the coma. Half of her brain is dead. She has limited eye sight, limited mobility, her short term memory is that of someone with Alzheimer’s and her speech is impaired.
This all happened because of one common, routine shot meant to stop the pain. It very likely could have been avoided with routine massage. She was 22 with a 2 year old.
THIS is why I massage! I hate the idea of people getting shots to numb the pain that is there to tell us something is wrong.
I am so grateful my sister is alive today but I miss my sister I grew up with every day. She is the most amazing person! Happy 20th survival Crystal! I love you!!! ❤️

Did you know a lot of your low back pain actually comes from your quads and your hamstrings? Work on the low back feels great but a lot of times it isn’t fixing what is causing the problem.
