Position: TRT (Therapeutic Recreational Therapist)
We currently have one open position available and we’re looking for a caring, compassionate individual to join our team.

• Tuesday-Saturday 11am-7:30pm
Pay Range: $16.75
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develops creative recreation programs that meet the physical, spiritual, emotional, cognitive, and social goals of each resident's assessment and care plan.
• Schedules and implements therapeutic recreation activities on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to stay in compliance with state guidelines
• Contacts and works with community members to gain additional support for programming needs
• Completes data collection forms on each new resident
• Completes all necessary paperwork to maintain resident care plans
• Attends and participates in weekly interdisciplinary team meetings and gives input into treatment plans
• Organizes and directs activities such as sports, games, and arts & crafts
• Coordinates volunteer group performances and activities
• Plans and coordinates special outings for the residents
• Maintains department budget, acquires needed supplies
• Supervises department employees and interns
• Monitors daily census to assess residents fluctuating needs
• Encourages residents participation in activities and assists residents to and from the activities
• Develops monthly calendars, showing activities for the upcoming month, and distributes calendars to residents and their families.
• Attends daily leadership team meetings and other required meetings.
• Works with residents on one-on-one sensory goals
• Upholds patient and company confidentiality at all times
• Follows organizational policy and procedures
Requirements:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to lift 35+ Lbs.
• Pass criminal background check
• Able to work in the United States
• Current Drivers License

• Taking positive steps to promote the individual's welfare including health and safety, risk assessments, and seeking out opportunities to enhance the client's quality of life.
