Turner Imaging Systems has expanded its partnership with Swissray Technologies AG, bringing SMART-C® to healthcare providers across the European Union.

This builds on a successful collaboration since 2021 and reflects growing demand for flexible, portable imaging solutions at the point of care.

SMART-C is lightweight, battery-powered, and completely cordless, enabling fluoroscopic imaging without the infrastructure requirements of traditional systems.

We’re excited to continue our partnership with Alois Suppiger and the entire Swissray Technologies AG team to expand access to high-performance imaging across Europe.

A milestone moment for SMART-C® in Southeast Asia 🇹🇭

For the first time, SMART-C was officially showcased in Thailand at the 41st Annual Hand Meeting 2026 in Bangkok.

Presented by our partner Miracle Perfect Med, SMART-C was introduced to leading hand surgeons and reconstructive specialists across the country — many seeing this level of portable fluoroscopy technology up close for the first time.

The response has been very strong:

• Interest from 10+ hospitals
• Demo requests already forming a queue
• Growing momentum heading into TOTAC 2026

Proud to welcome NOVA Pediatric Orthopaedics to the SMART-C® family.

Their rapidly expanding Northern Virginia practice has added a SMART-C Positioning Package to support back-office imaging.

The goal: increase throughput and minimize patient wait times.

As primary provider and part owner, Dr. George Gantsoudes shared:

We recently wrapped a video shoot with the Star Room team in Miami.

The goal was simple: create clear, practical video content that helps our customers better understand the portability, convenience, and workflow improvements the ENDURO DR system offers.

Two days of focused production, hands-on system walk-throughs, and intentional storytelling — all centered on making portable imaging easier to understand and adopt in real-world environments.

A perfect reflection of why portable imaging matters.

Last week, our team completed a SMART-C Portability Package installation at Fricke Nation Medical / Elite Performance Medical in Tampa, FL. Led by Telly Fricke, this group sits at the intersection of athletics, orthopedics, and real-world clinical ex*****on — and it shows in how they’re deploying technology.

From surgeon education and journal clubs to hands-on athlete support and clinical use in and out of the operating room, SMART-C is being integrated exactly as intended: flexible, efficient, and built to move with care.

Huge thanks to Telly and the Fricke Nation / Elite Performance Medical team for the trust and collaboration — and to Manny Aponte, for another flawless install.

We recently completed a SMART-C® installation with Journey Orthopaedic Institute in the Charlotte, NC area. This is exactly the kind of practice SMART-C was designed for.

Turner was honored to support a recent humanitarian medical mission to Honduras, where a team of surgeons, nurses, and volunteers delivered transformative orthopedic care to patients who would otherwise lack access to specialized treatment.

An organization with decades of global outreach, Operation Rainbow leads missions like this around the world, providing free orthopedic surgeries and training local medical teams to build long-term sustainability.

During the mission, the team used the SMART-C® ultra-portable mini C-arm to safely perform six surgical procedures that would not have been possible without intraoperative imaging. These included:

• Two ligament reconstructions for patients with recurrent kneecap dislocations
• A fracture repair around the knee
• Three corrective foot and ankle surgeries addressing significant deformities

The impact of this mission extended well beyond the operating room. One of the cases was featured on national news in Honduras, highlighting the remarkable patient outcome and the collaborative efforts of clinicians, volunteers, and supporting partners.

In resource-limited environments, access to portable fluoroscopy can be a true game-changer. We're proud to support orthopedic teams and humanitarian partners like Operation Rainbow in delivering high-quality care to communities in need.

SMART-C® Featured in Breeders’ Cup Veterinary Safety Protocols

We’re proud to share that SMART-C — our ultra-portable, battery-operated mini C-arm — was featured in the Paulick Report article “AI, Heart Monitoring Among New Additions to Breeders’ Cup World Championships Veterinary Protocols.”

Turner representatives were on site to support Antech Diagnostics, our partners in the veterinary medicine industry. Their presence at the Breeders’ Cup exemplifies how collaboration between innovators and clinical leaders continues to advance animal health and safety.

Dr. Farmer, who helped oversee the 2025 veterinary protocols, explained:
