Are you working through some health issues? I am. When you are feeling overwhelmed take a deep diaphragmatic breath and remind yourself it is temporary. Tell yourself, "it will be OK, you will heal". Be patient with yourself. Be as kind to yourself as you would to a good friend or family member. Allow yourself the time needed to heal. If there is one particular part of your body that really hurts, focus your attention on the parts that feel OK. Relax those parts of your body that are feeling well and allow the rest of your body to follow. After doing this, if you are feeling even a little bit better thank yourself for doing such a great job managing your mind and body and enjoy the moment.

When you are working through a difficult time, it may be helpful to think of it this way.

God didn't remove the Red Sea he parted it.

Sometimes God doesn't remove your problems, He makes a way through them.

Keep going. Stay the course. Get help if you need it. Know that it will be O.K.

The head injury I experienced in 2018, the same one which led me to hypnotherapy and mind management, left me with a constant buzzing in my head. Most people know this as tinnitus. Talking outloud to yourself is ok! Especially if you are telling yourself you are awesome. Yup, I talk to myself all the time. You are OK. It will be alright. You are doing a great job. Next time you feel challenged speak to yourself in a positive way, like you would to encourage a good friend. Be your own best friend!

Have you ever wondered why, when there is a tense or anxious moment you are encouraged to "Just Breathe"? It's because when you breathe properly* you activate the vagus nerve which activates the process of relaxation in the body. Your body will then help you to become more calm. The breathing actually encourages the body to counteract the anxiety.

*Proper breathing comes from the diaphragm not the upper chest. Stayed tuned for more on how to breathe from the diaphragm.

A tip to help your mind make good things happen. State what you do want, not what you don't want!

Example: "I don't want to be sick."
Your subconscious hears: "I want to be sick."

Instead state your true intentions: "I want to be well."

This is one of the basics for successful manifestation and making good thing happen.

Here's a little trick you can do each day to increase your self esteem.

Everyday, take a moment and look in a mirror and say these words,

"I love you (say your name). I love you just the way you are."

Over time you'll not only begin to like yourself more but you'll see changes in other areas of your life.

Do this every day. Be consistent. And smile every once in a while while you are doing it.

Once you do this consistently, you'll find you have become one of your own best friends.

It works great when you are down in your mood. You can go to the mirror when you need a pick me up and simply let yourself know that you love yourself and you are there for yourself and your mood shifts to a more calm place. I am able then to face the down turn with a more positive response which allows me to see the solution sooner.

Go ahead, give it a go. 😀
