Let’s talk a little bit about yoga philosophy and diet. In Yoga there are what’s called “five sheaths,”  or five bodies.

 The first sheath is called the Annamaya Kosha, or food sheath.

We are what we eat Even Yoga teaches us the importance of a diet that contributes to our life force.  It’s pretty powerful when you think about it.

Here is one yoga pose to support digestion called supta Baddha Konasana, or reclined bound angle pose.

It can go along with a sattvic, or balanced diet.
