I’m still waiting for a kidney transplant. People ask me how I’m doing and truthfully, I don’t know what to tell them. Some days are better than others. Some days I look completely normal and other days I can’t get out of bed.
If anyone out there knows anyone that is interested in possible organ donation,PLEASE pass on the word.
It is a big thing to ask, and anyone who knows me knows I don’t normally ask for help. I need help. I’ve learned I can’t do this on my own and it is so difficult to sit here and wait for a miracle
I am not losing faith, because I know my time is not now. My job here is not done.

9 years!!!!!
It was 9 years ago that a beautiful human gave me the gift of life. Because of her, I was given the gift of life.

Although, my kidney has stopped working the way I need it to, the kidney and pancreas that my donor donated to me has allowed me to travel, live a somewhat “normal” life, become a mom❤️❤️❤️. Thanks to her, I can hug my husband and son daily. I got to celebrate birthdays, holidays and graduations with family and friends. I was able to say good-bye to my dad, and hug my family as we mourned.

Not a day goes by that I don’t think of her and thank God for her. I continue to pray for my future donor. I thank God that there is someone so special willing to give me, Dillon, Dan and my family a beautiful gift of life❤️❤️❤️❤️

Thank you all for reading and for all the prayers and good thoughts gou send my way. They carried me through before and they continue to carry me through some very difficult times.

I had quite a scare, , as I have been unable to recieve dialysis for the past 3 days. For those of you that know, this is NOT good.

My machine was giving me errors and alarms. Every attempt at dialysis failed. Even attempts at a manual session, did not work.

I headed to Northwestern this morning convinced I needed surgery to remove and replace the catheter. Thank goodness everything that was causing the problems, is on the outside!!!!

I am praying for a night of treatment and sleep. I need it!!!!

Starting this all over at 3:40am….. Alarms going off all night. We were hoping to leave our house by 10am, but I need to be hooked up for 8.5 hours.
