Meet the Staff
George C. Kuefner, MD, RPVI, RVT is certified by both the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine and the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is credentialed both as a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) and a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). Dr. Kuefner is a graduate of the University of Illinois College of Medicine. With over 30 years experience exclusively diagnosing and treating vein related disorders combined with his experience performing Endovenous Laser Ablations, ultrasound guided procedures, sclerotherapy procedures, VeinWave procedures and ultrasound evaluations, Dr. Kuefner qualifies as one of the most experienced and credentialed Phlebologists in the United States. Dr. Kuefner is a member of the American Venous and Lymphatic Society (formly the American College of Phebology), Chicago Medical Society, Illinois State Medical Society and American Registry of Diagnostic Sonographers.
Lynne Tunis, RN, RVT graduated from the Morton College School of Nursing in 1985. Lynne has focused her nursing specialty in the field of Phlebology since 1988. She has complimented her nursing career in Phlebology by obtaining certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). She has assisted in thousands of vein procedures and is proficient in all aspects related to the assessment, testing and treatment of patients with vein disorders. Lynne also is a member of the American Vein and Lymphatic Society (formerly American College of Phlebology).
