Exciting Update on Our Beloved Monster: 💕✨

Hello, Nature’s Trail friends! We’re thrilled to share some positive news about our little monster. He’s still living in the house and is showered with love, and fruit platters every day!

Monster has been surprising us all by getting around and walking all over the place! Despite the vets estimating we had only a few weeks left with him, he continues to defy the odds with his sassy spirit and determination. While he does have a deformed right hoof he manages beautifully on his three legs and is thriving!

Although the vets are still anticipating a downturn at some point and stated this improvement could be short lived, we’re holding onto hope for a miracle. For now, our little monster is in great spirits, enjoying every moment as our house goat and participating in all indoor classes. ❤️

Thank you for all your love and support! Let’s keep cheering for our brave little guy!

Monster Update:

Good morning, Nature’s Trail Friends. It is with heavy hearts that we share some heartbreaking news about our beloved Monster. After extensive testing at the University of Illinois they found evidence leading them to believe monster most likely has lymphoma. They believe that he most likely has little time left with us. Unfortunately, there are no effective treatment options available for goats.

For now, Monster is still happy, loving his meals, giving us lots of smiles and enjoying the comfort of home and visits with his brother Cookie. He is loving getting room service and buffets and lots of love from us. We will keep monster happy and comfortable until he shows us signs of discomfort.

Thank you for your love and support during this challenging time. We are grateful to have such a caring community around us. 💕

Hello everyone, I’m reaching out to ask for your prayers for Monster. Unfortunately, he’s not feeling his best and is currently unable to walk.

He’s been seen regularly by our farm vet this past week and we have been trying all we possibly can. Today he’s at the University of Illinois to consult with experts in hopes of finding answers. Despite his challenges, he’s still eating well, living in our house receiving lots of love and 24/7 care. He is very much enjoying being pampered inside but we hope we can get him back out with the rest of the herd soon!

We have been giving him his electrolytes and fluids through his old baby bottle to keep him nice and hydrated during his car rides and vet visits.

Your positive thoughts would mean the world to us during this tough time. Thank you for keeping Monster in your hearts! 💕

Jeffrey the rooster hatched in an incubator last Halloween and has been stealing hearts ever since. He LOVES cuddles, being held, and will happily perch on your lap like a pro.
