Psychotherapist Needed!!
Must hold LICSW/LCSW or equivalent and be ready to see patients independently.
Must be licensed to practice in Florida.
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Psychotherapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health counselling and psychotherapy services to individuals across various age groups, including paediatrics and geriatrics. This role requires a strong commitment to helping clients navigate their mental health challenges through evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
Start Date: Immediate.
Setting: In-person
location: Orlando, FL.
Client Population: Pediatrics and geriatrics
Therapeutic modem:
Expertise in EMDR, CBT, DBT, Couple Therapy, Dialectical Therapy, and more is required.
Session Length: Full-hour, client-focused sessions.
Compensation: Based on a per-encounter basis.
Licences:
LICSW/LCSW and can practice unsupervised.

Duties:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health needs.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Providing psychotherapy services using evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, Dialectical Therapy, Couple Therapy, EMDR and more, based on qualifications.
- Offering case management and coordinating care with other professionals.
- Facilitating group therapy sessions as needed, including support for individuals on the autism spectrum.
- Develop Individualized Student Programs (IEP) for students in compliance with all Federal Regulations and State Policies regarding the education of students with disabilities.
- Provide individual, group, and couple counselling.
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
- Participating in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of the latest therapeutic practices.
- Shadow students and assist with their professional development
- Assist with administrative tasks
- Working alongside the guidance and direction of the Licensed Supervisor.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in psychotherapy and mental health counselling.
Qualifications
- LICSW/LCSW
- Hold a certificate in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
- Valid licensure as a Psychotherapist or equivalent credential in the state of practice.
- Experience in case management and mental health counselling is preferred.
- Familiarity with Christian counselling principles is a plus.
- Proficiency in cognitive behavioural therapy techniques.
- Experience working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in practice.
