Every Saturday morning, we meet as early as the sun rises on our yoga mats in a rising 90°+ infrared heater studio.
To dedicate a practice of mindful, physical movements and breath in such a beautifully synchronized fashion.

When I say it is a BLESSING to come together with my community in such a way. Some of these amazing humans have been rising with me for OVER A YEAR now (🤩❣️🥰)
at the beautiful .poinciana , some a few months, some just a few classes now.....

And what just fills my cup and soul, is when they keep coming back week after week, deepening their breath and easing into their practice, into their own truths, into their beautiful heart spaces. Ughhh, my own heart is bursting, I just love y'all so much. Keep rising to the occasion, keep striving to live an authentic, purposeful life as you peel back layers of trauma, grief, pain, past injury.... And truly step into their most highest versions, feeling love, light and healing with each Asana.

To all the ones who thought I couldn’t…
or told me I shouldn’t.

To the ones who tried to dim my light,
who mistook my softness for weakness,
who claimed to love me—
but didn't learn how to love another unconditionally.

To every “you’ll never make it,”
every side-eye, backhanded compliment,
every room I was talked out of,
and every piece of myself I once gave away
just to be accepted.

I forgive you.
Not for your sake—but for mine.
So I can be free.
So I can be whole.
So I can shine.

I leave it all here,
between these pages.
This is the closure I never got,
the healing I never knew I needed,
and the truth I no longer apologize for.

May my light rise even higher because of the shadow I’ve walked through.
May these words make peace with every version of me I’ve ever been.

And may no one ever again mistake my fire for something they can extinguish.

This is for me.
This is for the ones like me.
This is for the ones who rise.

5:45am Foundation Yoga in 96° infrared heat. The vibes are everything you never knew you needed. All phases and ages of life, every human with a body, could deeply benefit from adding a daily practice of movement and breath work.
It is such a privilege to share this space with these remarkable, strong humans, who continue to show up and call upon their highest versions in light and love.
