Been battling with this decision for months because I genuinely love doing encapsulations and keepsakes. But family responsibilities are requiring more of my time, limiting my ability to travel and process placentas.

I am no longer taking doula clients this year. Those who have already booked me as their birth doula will be my last clients for a while. I will still be providing placenta encapsulation and babywearing services. It has not been an easy decision to step back from doula work, but it is what is going to be best for my family currently.

I wholeheartedly have loved serving so many families and have hopefully been a positive part of their birth experience. It has been an honor to be welcomed into such a sacred space.

Born 1/20/24. Mom worked hard with a long early labor & Dad was amazing at supporting mom. They were educated & advocated for the birth they planned. They definitely took time to work through their options when making a decision and it definitely made this doula so proud. It was such an honor to be there to support this family.

Born 6/20/23 I cannot believe Baby Annalene is a month old today. Time has gotten away from me with all the encapsulations and babywearing consults I’ve been working on.

This family was such a joy to work with and we learned to work well rather quickly. Labor was somewhat start and stop but this momma was able to get labor going using a pump to avoid any medical induction/augmentation methods.

It was beautiful to watch this momma give into her surges while listening to her tracks. She definitely worked long and hard to bring baby girl earthside but she shared that it was still a wonderful and empowering experience.

When the umbilical cord is long and the family has more options for me to create a keepsake they’ll love. This keepsake wouldn’t even fit my traditional packaging.

Most families stick with the traditional heart umbilical cord keepsake that I offer. Now I offer the ability to do umbilical cord keepsakes on their own, no need to also do placenta encapsulation. Contact me to learn more.
