Our Story Isn’t Over……….

So by now you have to be wondering, “What was the New Thing that God did through our tragedy?”That’s the AMAZING PART!!! If I had to some it up in one word, it would be, MORE…….

MORE:
•Time with family and time together
•Opportunities to pursue the passions tucked away deep in the corners of our hearts
•Connection with new friends & old
•Freedom to be present & available
•Peace in our home and personal lives
•Life giving moments
•Ideas of ways to use our strengths

Just MORE of so many things……………
Because that’s what God can do.
And because we choose to focus on what we’ve gained instead of what we lost. Honestly, if we were to weigh it out, the wins out way the loses in the end. And let me just say, God didn’t give us more because we’re perfect, or because we’ve handled every situation perfect, or even because we’ve made the right choice every time. We’ve made our share of mistakes. But, that’s the distinctive difference between Karma and God’s Grace. Karma brings back to you what you deserve but God’s Grace gives you something better than you deserve. When we are seeking him, trying to do the right next steps, our hearts desire is to please our Heavenly Father, filling our hearts with his word, striving to be obedient……his grace, love and mercy pursues us, overtakes us, and surrounds every aspect of our being.

We believe with every part of our being that God will continue to lay before us opportunities……and we will walk into each one as it comes, taking one day at a time and one step at a time. Will every idea and adventure turn successful? Maybe not in the sense that the world defines success, but each opportunity that we walk into will lead to the next right step, the next right connection, the next part of fulfilling our God designed purpose as individuals and as partners in this journey of life.

Update: I am over 6 hours post surgery and doing awesome!!! I have not taken a single pain pill!!! The surgery performed was L4/5 decompression, instrumentation, and fusion. Dr. Geoffrey Stewart and his staff at The Spine and Scoliosis Center are the best, hands down👊🏻👊🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Another Opportunity….

Another chance to prove God’s faithfulness!
We ask for prayers for Paul, our family, as well as Dr Stewart and his medial team as we embark on another step in the healing journey today. We have so much faith and hope that God will do another great thing today and for our future🙏🏻 with Paul Dowdy
