🐾Starting this Monday, our office will be a drop off location for pet supplies benefitting local rescue and foster organizations ( and to name a few). You are also welcome to check them out and donate directly! Any gently used linens are accepted ☺️ ***Please note this is a counseling office with sessions in progress so feel free to drop at the door and go 🤫🤍 donations accepted during business hours Monday - Friday

If you or someone who know is looking for a QS, please share 🤍🫶 I completed the training in January and am just waiting on the backlogged state health department to officially add it to my license (expected by the end of the month). I’m excited for this new adventure & it’s really important to me to help helpers and, to make it accessible and affordable.

Hi humans! I will be out of office and not monitoring emails or the phone until I return on 1/6/25. I am taking my own advice and taking a much needed mental break to reset and decompress. My cousin was killed by her longtime (ex) partner on Friday. We must and have stricter laws to protect victims. The system failed my cousin and allowed her abuser out, with no monitoring one month before he murdered her. The photo attached was the last selfie Kristin took of herself, having broken free of him - glowing with life 💔

As some of my clients may read this, please rest assured I am receiving my own support and I am going to keep going 🤍

Had the complete honor of being guest speaker for Boone High School’s .bhs ‘s first meeting. Mind Over Matter is a club promoting and . I got to talk about how my own mental health journey brought me into this profession, after graduating from Boone myself, 20 years ago 🥹😅 &, how important it is to treat our minds like we would anything physical. Very proud of all of these next generation helpers and healers.

I am truly honored and grateful to have been voted as the Best Therapist 2024 by ! This recognition means the world to me, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support from each and every human who took the time to vote, trust and/or support me.

Mental health is a journey that we do not have to walk alone, we can walk together. This award is a personal reminder of the importance of continuing on, even when it all feels like too much.

Every day, I am inspired by the resilience and strength of those who choose to seek *and* those able to provide help. To those making a priority, cheers.
