Already in mastopexy surgeries, (those that don’t have prosthesis) the pressure occurs due to the reconstruction made by the surgeon, who uses the mammary tissue, the fat and the gland to fill the cervix. This reconstruction requires internal stitches, which promotes the feeling of pressure on the skin.

Remember: your body is recovering from surgical trauma. It takes time for the body to adapt to the changes made.

To relieve the feeling of pressure and aid in recovery, breathing exercises help to reduce this discomfort.
