DRY BRUSHING BRANDS AND CARE
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This Ayurvedic practice is a great method to buff off dead skin, promote and stimulate lymphatic drainage, improve digestion, increase circulation and reduce cellulite. I have a video about the dry brushing technique.

CARE
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It depends on how often you use the brush, for instance, I use my brush almost daily, so I tend to wash once a week.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌟 Fill a bowl with some water to about half the length of the bristles with antimicrobial/antibacterial essential oils such as tea tree oil, lemongrass, lemon, peppermint, cedarwood, or lavender. I love this cleaning method but you could use a gentle baby soap instead.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌟 Place the brush in the bowl and gentle move around for about 5 mins. This helps remove dirt.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌟 Rinse with fresh water, shake and place it outside away from direct sun to airdry. It could also be dried in the dryer with some clothes in a low setting (wrapped in a towel).
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌟 You could also disinfect your brush between washes by mixing 3/4 cup of water, 1/4 of witch hazel with some of the antibacterial essential oils mentioned before, or you can buy one. Doterra and Pranarom have sanitizing mixes.

Source of cleaning method: Prana Brush.
