Rapid HIV testing gives results in 20–30 minutes, but timing matters. ⏱️

Test too soon after a recent exposure, and HIV may not show up yet. That’s the window period. Some tests detect HIV earlier than others, and follow-up testing may be needed if your result is reactive or if you tested shortly after exposure.
