The ADAP program helps cover medications and insurance for people living with HIV. Florida is changing the rules about who qualifies and what is covered, creating uncertainty for many in our community.

Here’s what you need to know: Florida ADAP consumers will lose eligibility for their current Marketplace premium subsidies starting March 1, 2026. Because of this, a Special Enrollment Period is available, allowing you to choose a new health insurance plan outside the regular enrollment window.
Deadline to enroll in a new plan: April 30, 2026
