“She didn’t have anxiety. She had a medical condition.”

She was told it was in her head. Called a hypochondriac. Dismissed for years while reporting excruciating abdominal pain.

After her death, they opened her abdomen. What they found was devastating:
“She was absolutely massacred inside from endometriosis.”

She had suffered in silence for decades. Not one referral for a laparoscopy. No answers. Just labels. Just assumptions. Just… anxiety.

This story isn’t an anomaly. This is a repeated pattern in our medical healthcare system.
A pattern of women, especially Black and brown women, being told their pain isn’t real.
Being misdiagnosed. Overlooked. Gaslit.

At FloEver Health, we are done with that narrative.
