A tired mama. A brand new baby. 🤍
This photo was taken soon after I gave birth — gently adjusting my peaceful, sleeping newborn. Not because something was “wrong,” but because birth is powerful… and it’s a big neurological transition.
During even an uncomplicated vaginal delivery, a baby can experience around 80–120 pounds of compressive force as they move through the birth canal, especially through the head and upper neck. Baby’s body is beautifully designed for this, but it’s still a significant biomechanical event.
The upper neck protects the brainstem and emerging nerves, which helps regulate digestion, sleep, latching, immune function and more. When this area experiences stress, families can later notice challenges like colic, reflux, ear infections, feeding difficulties, or sleep struggles.
While chiropractic does not treat conditions or diseases, it focuses on restoring healthy nervous system communication so the body can function and adapt the way it was designed to.
Starting life with a well-supported nervous system creates a strong foundation, so everything it controls can develop and fall into place more smoothly.
Experiencing this with my own baby only deepened my passion and heightened my motivation to ensure other families feel confident in their baby's foundation from the very beginning. It would be an honor to serve you and your little one in that journey.🤍
