The note isn't the point. The pause is.

Some of us are excellent at knowing what others need, what the situation requires, what the responsible choice is.

Desire? Pleasure? What I find nourishing? That often takes longer to answer.

The people who come into my spaces have often been oriented outward for so long, inward feels like unfamiliar territory. I get it.

This is me practicing what I ask of others.

Coming back. Once a week - or whenever is needed - jotting a quick "note to self." With whatever is present.

What would your note to self say this week?

No amount of hustle can override a block in our system.
We’re often taught to respond to "stuckness" by doing more (i.e. getting new skills, reaching farther, networking with the right people, and pushing through).

Sometimes those things matter.

But what happens when the block isn’t external at all? When it's a protective pattern that is energetic and lives in the body or in our very spirits.

When something we deeply desire keeps feeling JUST out of reach, it’s worth getting curious about what part of us might not feel safe, ready, or available to receive it yet.

What is something you’ve wanted for a long time that still feels evasive?

And as you name it…

Can you sense where your body tightens, closes, or pulls away? Where your mind starts to anticipate the problems that may come up should you recieve it? Where fear creeps in around losing it or what it would ask of you?

That is where the work is.

This is your invitation to 3 quiet minutes.

No talking.
No teaching.
No reminders to breathe better or be calmer.

Just a body on the mat. The bed. The chair. The ground.
Listening. Letting movement happen where it wants to.

This is simply space. Use it if you feel called to.

When we don’t realize that what we’re taking responsibility for goes beyond our capacity, we slowly enter into self-abandonment.

Capacity is not about what we *should* be able to hold.
It’s about what we *can* hold without losing ourselves.

When we honor our capacity, we stay present in our own lives. We stop giving ourselves away to everyone else I'm a way that leaves us wanting and exhausted. We move from surviving our days to actually living them.

And we begin to feel the impact of our own presence in our bodies, our choices, our lives.

What’s something small you’ve been tolerating?

That thing you’ve been meaning to do.
That little discomfort that hasn’t felt important enough to address.
I’ve had this rogue stream of water coming from my showerhead for months. For real, for months.

Just one random stream hitting me in the face. Every. Single. Shower. It's not urgent. Not a big deal. Just annoying.

Today, I reached up and turned the shower head a little.
That’s it. Now the stream goes into the tub instead of onto my forehead.

And immediately I felt more comfortable.

Initially, I couldn't figure out why I didn’t do that sooner.
But I do know this: I have a pattern of enduring.
Big things. Small things. Quiet things.

There’s so much happening collectively and in individual lives. And I think about how many small discomforts some of us live with because tending to them feels optional… indulgent… not worth the energy.

Those little things add up in the body. They teach us to brace. To stay slightly on edge. To normalize tension.

So this is your nudge:
What’s one small thing you could adjust today simply to let your body soften a little?

You’re allowed to choose ease where you can.
Even in the smallest ways.

Check these out!

I’m still smiling looking through these photos. The tables… the people… the laughter… the vibe. Y’all really showed up and made this space feel full, connected, and alive in the best way.

And together with joy, community, and a whole lot of love we raised $1,200 to support Gifted Ones, Inc. I’m still blown away by that. Thank you for pouring into this work and into each other.

More photos are coming (because there are so many beautiful moments). And yes… 2026 is already brewing.

Stay tuned.

These little pearl-covered beauties carried me through a SOLD OUT room filled with warmth, laughter, great tea, and so much community.

The Tea Party Fundraiser was everything I hoped it would be. It was joyful, connected, soulful, and beautifully held. From the decorations to the conversations to the generosity in the room… I’m still taking it all in.

I’m so grateful to everyone who showed up, poured into the experience, and helped us raise $1,200 for Gifted Ones, Inc. Your support directly sustains the work we’re doing for healers, visionaries, changemakers and the wider community.

More photos (and videos!) are coming.
And yes… next year’s Tea Party is already brewing.

If you were in the room, thank you for making it magical.
If you missed it, stay close. We’re just getting started.

Yall!

These are the teas we’ll be serving at the Spill the T.E.A. Tea Party Fundraiser, and you can’t get them anywhere else.

Chonteau doesn’t just “make tea.” She creates it in relationship through conversation, intuition, and intention. Every blend is born from connection with community AND nature. It is a beautiful process.

That’s the same way Gifted Ones does its work: supporting healers and visionaries through presence, care, and intention.

If you want to support this work:
✨ Join us at the tea party! spilltheteafundraiser.org

✨ Donate directly to Gifted Ones at https://gogiftedones.org/

✨ Or DM me if you'd like information on ordering some tea (while supplies last).
