At HCA Healthcare we take care of our own. Even in tough economic times, we support our HCA Healthcare family members through the HCA Healthcare Hope Fund. Last week we celebrated our Hope Fund "Countdown to Kickoff" with a tailgate party. UCF Lake Nona Hospital colleagues who donate $130 a year to the Hope Fund receive football jerseys to wear the first Friday of each month during football season, showing their support of this colleague-led initiative that impacts so many.

HCA Healthcare matches support and throughout the past 20 years the Hope Fund has given more than $107 million to more than 55,000 colleagues and their families who were facing crisis.

Throughout UCF Lake Nona Hospital our pet therapy teams help create calm, ease tension, and offer connection to patients, visitors and colleagues. This afternoon our Med Surg team appreciated their visit from Mindy, a beautiful English Springer Spaniel. Our visits from the pups are great stress relievers and we're pretty sure the dogs love it too!
