We are looking to create a nonjudgemental space where those with cancer can build a support system and connect with others that have shared lived experiences. Currently, it’s looking like a space that will center younger friends with cancer (currently or in the past) ages 18-45, while welcoming adults of all ages.
Peer groups are nonclinical spaces to build a support system where big feelings are welcomed that are led for and by those with lived experience.
What could that look like? Well that’s up to you!
We’re calling on those that currently have cancer, have had cancer, or loved ones (loved ones will be welcomed into the space dependent on input from those with cancer) to share what you would like out of a space like this.
✨ What are you hoping to get out of this space?
✨ Any fun group names?
✨ What kind of activities or topics would you be interested in?
✨ How can we help you feel comfortable in this space?
✨ and more!
To share your input (as much or little as you’d like) please visit: tinyurl.com/newcancergroup
If you do not want to share input but want to be notified when this group launches, please put your email into the survey and skip the rest.
