Request are getting crazy these days…

ISO: A psychologist between 35–55, female, with children. Preferably Latina, first or second generation in the U.S. Bonus points if she has personally survived trauma because apparently my brain now requires “peer-reviewed suffering.”

Must also be married for at least 20 years so she fully understands relationships.

Looking for someone health conscious but who can crack jokes once in a while.

Not required, but highly preferred: a solid skincare routine. Ideally someone loyal to Obagi and SkinCeuticals… because if you recommend Pons during my emotional breakdown, I simply cannot continue this therapeutic journey.

**trigger warning**

I usually do not get political on this platform, but this is a moment when I feel the need to clearly state my position as a psychologist regarding so called “conversion therapy.”

I do not practice, believe in, endorse, or specialize (or have the intention to) in this type of intervention. It is not evidence based and is widely recognized as harmful to mental health.

If you are seeking those types of services, I respectfully encourage you to continue your search elsewhere.

My professional journey is dedicated, body and soul, to supporting people and helping heal the wounds created by a society that often thinks in black and white. My work is rooted in respect, dignity, and evidence based care for every individual I serve.

Now, as I said with EMDR, “lets go with that”…,

Love Letters to my fellow psychologist, therapist and healers:

Dear Therapist:

“Thank you for being the LIGHT when the world feels heavy”

“The way you show up is LOVE in ACTION”

“You carry stories that deserve to be honored”

“You have a way of making people feel seen, and that’s one of the most beautiful gifts anyone can offer”
