Mobility training is for EVERYONE! 👇

“Mobility” might not sound thrilling…

But let’s face it: how you move affects everything. Improving your mobility can make a world of difference in your quality of life — no matter your age.

Want to start feeling better fast? Try these simple moves:

👉 Cat-cow stretches first thing in the morning to mobilize your spine

👉 Hip circles to loosen up your hip joints
👉 Ankle circles to keep your ankles mobile
👉 Side bends to stretch your sides and improve lateral mobility

You don’t need hours — just a few minutes a day can bring noticeable results.

We’ve all heard the saying, “You can’t pour from an empty cup.”

Still, even I catch myself putting everyone else’s needs before my own sometimes!

But here’s the thing: when I’m worn out, I’m not giving anyone my best — not my family, not my friends, or my clients.

Does that make me feel any less uncomfortable turning down activities, or taking time for myself when I know someone needs me?

Of course not, I’m human!

But at the end of the day, I know they’d rather see me happy, healthy, and rested…

Just like I’d want for them.

Same goes for you!

Who knew stretching could do so much?! ☝️

The next time you need a pick-me-up, here’s why you may want to consider a quick stretch:

1️⃣ Supports better moods
Stretching releases endorphins (a.k.a. “happy chemicals”) which can boost your mood and reduce stress.
2️⃣ Reduces anxiety & tension
Gentle stretching can lower cortisol levels, helping you feel more relaxed and less anxious.
3️⃣ Promotes better-quality sleep
Stretching before bed can help calm your mind & relax your body, leading to better and more restful sleep (you can even stretch while you’re in bed!)
4️⃣ Improves mental clarity
Taking a few minutes to stretch can clear your mind and increase your focus.
5️⃣ Supports healthier energy levels
Stretching improves circulation, which gives you a natural energy boost and can help you feel more alert and awake.
6️⃣ Helps regulate emotions
Stretching is like hitting the “reset” button! When you stretch, it can help you feel more calm and present.
7️⃣ Enhances self-esteem

As your flexibility improves, so does your confidence in your physical abilities, which can positively impact your self-esteem!

Who else is going to start stretching more?!

When you think of an investment, what comes to mind? 👇

Most likely, it’s something that requires an upfront cost but pays off in the long run — and that’s exactly how I’ve started to view my own health.

Think about it this way:
👉Every time you choose healthy foods, you’re investing in more energy and a clearer mind

👉Every time you choose to work out, you’re building strength and the confidence that you can count on yourself to show up

👉And every time you choose to create more space in your schedule, manage your stress, or choose happiness…

You’re pouring into your mental and emotional health not just now, but for the long haul.
For me, it was realizing that taking time for myself to manage stress made me a stronger coach, partner, and friend.

When you start looking at your health this way, it gets so much easier to take action.
So, what’s one small thing you can do today to invest in your health? Share it below for accountability!

Ever notice how your thoughts influence how your body feels? 🤔

And vice versa?

By that I mean…

Sometimes we can get in a negative thought loop that does a number on how we feel physically (tired, aches and pains, etc.) …

Or we can feel like crud physically (like after eating a bunch of junk food), and end up in a crabby mood or feeling anxious. ☯️

I remember when I was going through some personal stress and it made me feel absolutely exhausted!.

Once I recognized what was happening, I made myself go for easy walks to get the blood pumping and … you guessed it! … my energy started to return!

Takeaway: It’s all connected! Next time you are caught in a loop, try taking a small step in a positive direction to help turn it around.

If you are a coconut lover, this is a great way to make sure you have a healthy treat to turn to when you need a sweet bite! 😋

🥥 Almond Joy Mounds 🍫
Makes 8 servings

INGREDIENTS
· 2 cups unsweetened shredded coconut

· 2 Tbsp pure maple syrup

· 2 Tbsp + ½ Tbsp coconut oil, melted

· 8 raw almonds

· ⅓ cup no added sugar dark chocolate chips (at least 60% cacao)

· Sea salt

You will also need a food processor, bowl and parchment paper over a plate, cutting board or a silicone mold.

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Place the coconut, pure maple syrup, and 2 Tbsp coconut oil in your food processor (or bowl if you don’t have one). Process or mix until sticky and clumping together.

2. Form the coconut mixture into 8 small oval shapes, placing them on the parchment paper as you go. (I made 5 larger pieces in a silicone mold, cutting each piece in half, ending up with 10 delicious almond joys)

3. Place one almond on each mound, gently pressing it into the mixture so it sticks. Put the mounds in the fridge or freezer for a few minutes to firm up.

4. Melt the chocolate and ½ Tbsp coconut oil in the microwave 30 seconds at a time, or in a small saucepan on the stove.

5. Place each mound in the chocolate bowl one at a time to lightly coat with the chocolate mixture. Use a fork to lift the mound up and drip off any excess chocolate. You could also choose to just drizzle the chocolate over the top of the mounds.

6. Place each piece back on the parchment paper as you coat it with the chocolate. Place all the mounds back in the fridge or freezer for about 15 minutes to harden before eating.

Store the almond mounds in the fridge or freezer to grab one at a time when you want something sweet. 😋

These homemade treats contain around 4 grams of sugar (depending on what you use for sweetener), compared to 24 grams in a standard Almond Joy candy bar! 😲
