Must have and maintain a current Oklahoma Paramedic License - Required

Minimum requirement is completion of the requirements for licensure (DOT curriculum paramedic program) recognized by the Oklahoma State Department of health in accordance with EMS regulations which allows individual to sit for the State and National Registry exams for licensure as an EMT.

Must be at least 21 years of age in order to be insured by NRH carrier. - Required

Must possess a valid driver’s license. - Required

BLS - Required

ACLS - Required

PALS - Required

Pediatric Education for Pre-hospital Professionals (PEPP) training is required within 9 months of hire.

Types of Cases: Emergency cases (no major cases, heart attacks, strokes, trauma will get routed to local Hospital or stabilized and shipped to local Hospital with higher level of care)

Type of Charting: EMR - CPRS

Requirements: BLS, ACLS, DEA

Reason for Need: staff shortage

Credentialing Timeframe: 4-6 weeks on average
