Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Through a combination of therapeutic techniques and skills, we can work together to identify limiting beliefs and outmoded coping mechanisms that may be standing in your way. During her graduate study she worked at a Crisis Support Unit with clients diagnosed with Depression, Bipolar Disorder and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). She facilitated individual and group counseling to include topics such as communication, self-esteem, and building support groups. Stephanie spent many years working to compliment her innate desire to help people by earning her Counseling degree. Stephanie is a wife, mother and veteran. She has been married for 35 years and has two sons and served 20 years in the Air Force. In addition to mentoring others on personal and professional development, she embraced learning about the diverse communities of which she lived and visited during her service. She has the unique perspective of the military family, culture and lifestyle. Her desire to learn and understand others coupled with her passion for helping people has been the cornerstone of her desire to become a counselor. Stephanie is excited to work with individuals, families, couples or groups. She is very motivated to help clients with self-esteem, navigating relationships and healthy coping skills allowing them to elevate to a place of personal fulfillment and healthy functioning. While utilizing her eclectic therapeutic techniques, her goal is to help clients overcome those challenges getting in the way of living a more fulfilled life.
