Facilitated a Seven Principles workshop for couples, where it's all about healthy communication, connection and growth. Being present to experience tangible transformation after a significant, "knowledge drop" is priceless.

This one was specifically for young adults. I told them, "this is better than date night!".

Learning and growing ALWAYS; for them and for me! See you soon!

As an Air Force retiree, I decided to pursue additional training to better support our veteran community with military-focused care. Combining my Air Force background from over 20 years ago with my current role as a psychotherapist has been a rewarding journey of continuous learning and personal growth. "I am the sum of my parts".

I am genuinely honored to serve as the Lead Consultant for the Volunteer Therapist Support Team at Europe’s largest trauma, mental health and wellbeing conference — the 2025 Masters Events Conference in Oxford, UK.

In this role, I’ve had the privilege of connecting with volunteer therapists from around the globe. Their passion, humility, and dedication to the field are truly seismic.

I’m excited and ready to help cultivate an extraordinary support team as we come together to serve this powerful and transformative event.

See you in September!

I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Dr. Farris of Helping Hands, Family Chiropractic, and the Junior League of Daytona Beach, for inviting me to participate as a Mental Health panelist in support of Women's Health. I also appreciate ANY opportunity to represent Veterans' Mental Health. It was a privilege and a pleasure!

I LOVE these cards and you can see why. The cards are displayed very nicely on a shelf in my office. I decided to, “be intentional” and put them in the hands of people where they belong. I love the conversation and connection the cards created! Not everyone gave permission for posting faces or hands but these people were fine with it. Appreciate them all!

Shout out to Trinitee! She gathered ROWS of heavy carts from the parking lot and brought them back in like a BOSS! It’s 84F/29C today! I’m proud of you!

My final post on my Global Exchange Conference 2024 is delayed due to Hurricane Milton; I hope everyone made it home or through the storm safely.
Although the storm resulted in the conference ending early, the energy continued.

Thanks again to Deran Young CEO of Black Therapists Rock for the invitation. Your talk is always appreciated. Until we meet again!

Happy to say I didn't meet a single stranger! It was good seeing a few familiar faces from Oxford again.

If anyone knows the name of the poet/artist who performed during the opening performance (see photo), I'd appreciate it.

Michael J. Fox stayed on AFTER the conference was cancelled and spoke of his challenges with Parkison's Disease and mental illness. A couple things he said really resonated with me:
"Future is the last thing you run out of. The future is now".
"It's terrible to be alone in a crowd full of people".

I attended Sue and Ann's Seminar on, "Modern Attachment: A New Clinical Paradigm". I appreciated seeing cultural context as impactful factors to attachment. I can't wait to finish the book.

Until next time...
