Background:

I graduated from the University of Central Florida with degrees in Psychology and Religious Studies. After I graduated, I spent almost ten years on staff with Cru (formerly Campus Crusade for Christ). This unique opportunity allowed me to work with college students struggling with various difficulties and life transitions. It is through my time there that my desire to foster restoration in the hearts of others was enriched. I received my master's degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University in Marriage and Family Therapy with a certification in Play Therapy. I worked at Esperance Counseling Center and at The Salvation Army Rehabilitation Center. It is through these incredible locations that I have been able to work closely with individuals, couples, and children. I have worked with communication and behavioral issues stemming from depression, anxiety, addiction, and self-worth. Now that I am fully credentialed, I work at a private practice called Providence Counseling Center. We have student interns, registered interns, and licensed professionals that specialize in a wide variety of issues. Prices range per counselor from $120 to $30 based on credentials and experience. Scholarships are also available if this is cost prohibitive. Theoretical Orientation:

I am an integrative therapist with a foundation in Gestalt psychotherapy and attachment theory with experiential techniques. This approach emphasizes personal responsibility focused around the context of a person's life. Simply put, I hope to bring healing and restoration to people's lives. I have always had a heart for people and for serving others. My desire as a therapist is to met you right where you are and help you find growth, direction, and restoration in your life.
