Our goal is for children and families who visit us to feel at home. We know that a hospital can be a scary place for a young child. So we’ve gone above and beyond to create a care center that is friendly and perhaps even a little fun. At AdventHealth for Children we have made it our purpose to provide your family with the most advanced pediatric medical services built on the foundation of treating all our patients as if they were are own. With more then 140 pediatric specialists practicing in 35 specialties dedicated to healing children, we have built a connected network of 28 trusted locations from Urgent Cares to Emergency Rooms and from Specialty Clinics to NICUs. We appreciate and encourage the conversations and perspectives shared by the diverse AdventHealth online community. Before Micah was born, his parents learned he had a serious heart condition. Their cardiologist, Dr. Hsu, walked them through every step and prayed with them, helping them find peace as they prepared for the road ahead.

From the NICU to the Pediatric Cardiac ICU, Micah’s parents say they felt God’s presence with every decision and in every caregiver. Through surgeries, setbacks, and moments of grace, Micah continued to surprise everyone with his strength.

Today, he’s a thriving four-year-old who loves sports, animals, and sharing Scripture. His parents call his journey a testimony of God’s goodness and say the compassionate teams who cared for him are like family. ❤️

This year, Micah’s care team nominated his family to receive a special Christmas blessing from Chick-fil-A Greater Orlando Area and Z88.3, Orlando FL which included tickets to visit Walt Disney World!

For years, Alissa, Mila’s mom searched for a care team who truly understood her daughter’s unique needs. She finally found that support with Dr. McConkey at the SMILE with Stella Tremonti Down Syndrome Clinic, where Mila was met with expertise, compassion and a care plan created just for her. Since then, Mila has begun to thrive in ways her family had long hoped for.

Our pediatric patients and their families were surprised with a magical visit from Santa and his Special Ops elves, who rappelled down the building to bring smiles and spread holiday cheer.

After back pain kept Brihanna from a choir trip, tests revealed B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. She began treatment immediately and underwent a bone marrow transplant from her brother Jackson, who turned out to be a perfect match. 💛

Cleft lip and palate are typically diagnosed before birth, but for Jalila's first born, Grace the diagnosis came as a complete surprise at birth. Through compassionate, expert care with Dr. Sawh-Martinez and his team, uncertainty turned into reassurance—giving Grace’s family confidence, clarity, and hope for the road ahead.

When Marley became severely ill, her family learned she was facing Type II autoimmune hepatitis and liver failure. What began as fear quickly turned into hope when she was approved for the transplant list and received a perfectly matched new liver on September 17, 2024. ❤️💚
