Are you taking Semaglutide? Here's how to get even better results!

Combining Semaglutide, a medication used for weight loss and diabetes management, with certain lifestyle strategies can enhance its effectiveness in weight loss. Here are three evidence-based strategies:

Intermittent Fasting (IF): Intermittent fasting involves cycling between periods of eating and fasting. It can enhance weight loss by reducing calorie intake and improving metabolic health. When combined with Semaglutide, IF may enhance the drug’s effects on appetite regulation and insulin sensitivity. IF regimens like the 16/8 method (fasting for 16 hours and eating within an 8-hour window) have been popular. However, it's essential to tailor the fasting schedule to individual needs and health conditions.

Increased Protein Consumption: A higher protein intake can aid weight loss by promoting satiety, reducing overall calorie intake, and preserving muscle mass during weight loss. Semaglutide already works by increasing feelings of fullness, so adding protein to your diet can complement this effect. Aim for lean protein sources like chicken, fish, beans, and legumes, and include protein in every meal to help manage hunger and cravings.

Regular Physical Activity: Engaging in regular physical activity is a fundamental part of a weight loss strategy. It not only helps in burning calories but also improves overall health. Activities like brisk walking, cycling, swimming, or resistance training can be beneficial. Regular exercise, combined with Semaglutide, can improve insulin sensitivity and enhance weight loss efforts. Aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic activity or 75 minutes of vigorous aerobic activity per week, as recommended by health guidelines.

Definite evidence that PRP group definitely reduced the progression of the disease compared to the sham group!

In this randomized clinical trial of patients with KOA, P-PRP was superior to sham saline in treating KOA. P-PRP was effective for achieving at least 24 months of symptom relief and slowing the progress of KOA, with both P-PRP and saline being comparable in safety profiles.
