🌟 Meet Eric G. Bonenberger, M.D.

Dr. Bonenberger is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon at Orlando Orthopaedic Center, specializing in minimally invasive joint replacement, arthroscopy, and sports medicine.

He’s one of the few surgeons in Florida performing outpatient direct anterior hip replacements and is frequently called on to teach this advanced technique to fellow surgeons. His expertise also includes robotic-assisted MAKOplasty, PRP and stem cell therapy, and reverse total shoulder replacement.

A former section head of adult hip and knee arthroplasty at Naval Hospital Jacksonville, Dr. Bonenberger remains active in research, surgeon education, and medical coverage for events like the PGA Arnold Palmer Invitational.

🦵🏃‍♂️ In this video, Ryan A. Davis, M.D., explains that most activities aren't harmful to your hips, provided you maintain proper form and don't overexert yourself. Activities such as weightlifting and long-distance running are generally acceptable.

The key is avoiding increasing intensity too rapidly or introducing too many new exercises simultaneously. By progressing steadily and maintaining a balanced approach, you can keep your hips healthy and injury-free while staying active.
