Breathing involves more than the diaphragm alone.
The intercostal muscles between the ribs play a large role, while muscles in the chest and shoulders may assist when breathing becomes strained.
When those muscles remain engaged for long periods, tension can develop in the chest, shoulders, and upper back.
Massage helps restore more natural movement so breathing becomes easier again.

A pattern that often appears in bodywork is how quickly the body adapts to tension. When muscles remain under stress long enough, the body begins adjusting so movement can continue.
Over time, those adjustments can influence how other areas of the body function.
Therapeutic massage helps bring awareness to altered patterns and supports the body as it begins returning to normal balanced movement.

St. Patrick’s Day often comes with more activity, longer days, and disrupted routines.
If your body feels a little off afterward, that’s information. Support, rest, and recalibration go a long way.

Amazing photography! Absolutely amazing!
The majestic snow leopard is one of the most endangered big cats, with its mountain territories shrinking due to farming and climate change, and an average of four snow leopards killed every week since 2008. Around four to seven thousand remain in the wild.

Every session has a purpose.
When care is consistent and focused, the body responds more predictably.
That predictability is what allows progress to hold.

As my practice continues to grow, I continue to focus on real progress that comes from consistent, intentional work.
When we address patterns in the body over time, mobility improves. Sessions build on each other, and recovery becomes sustainable. It's about about continuing to do the work that gets results.

EDUCATION
I am a graduate of The Center for Massage and Natural Health in Asheville, NC. The school is known for having a strong holistic teaching regimen with a balance of Eastern and Western modalities, giving students a well-rounded education. My health coaching certification is with The Dr. Sears Wellness Institute I am an honorably discharged veteran of the US Army where I served in the Medical-Corp. I also earned a business & marketing degree from the Art Institute of Dallas.
EXPERIENCE
While in massage school I was able to work for the retreat center associated with the school, The Center for Natural Health. There I was exposed to providing varied holistic treatments for clients, which included; various treatments for clients dealing with mental health issues, stress, physical pain, nutritional needs and those dealing with addiction. I was fortunate to see how massage, incorporated with other natural modalities helps people return to sustainable health. I seek to create a welcoming experience and to assist my clients in their journey to full health. In my massage I have a strong desire to help my clients get back to health so that they may regain their freedom of movement, and live without pain.
PERSONAL
I chose to enter the massage field after a mysterious debilitating issue plagued me for many years. After many procedures, bone scans, x-rays, MRI’s etc. it was the natural healing modalities; massage, acupuncture and chiropractic that rejuvenated my life. Massage specifically helped me regain my ability to move and to once again play softball, volleyball and to do the other things I enjoyed. Massage, along with Chiropractic care and Acupuncture, restored my zest for life. My personal experience with pain allows me to truly empathize with my clients.
