Have you had a thighplasty that left you unhappy with the result?

This patient's thighplasty left her with some residual loose skin and the scar was placed slightly in the line of sight when standing neutral. The scars were also asymmetric from one side to the other.

I told her we could move the right thigh scar enough to hide it but the left scar would be challenging and likely still remain slightly towards the front. If you look closely at the left thigh you will see we were able to move the scar significantly more inward but not completely hide it. That is unfortunately the reality when doing some of these revisions: some things cannot be fully corrected. She is thrilled with her results though and understood the limitations going in! We do several thighplasties and thigh lifts every month, including revisions!

This is a breast cancer survivor who came to see me after having had multiple reconstructive procedures (by other surgeons) but felt like she still didn't have her femininity back. She wanted her round buttock after one of the reconstructive procedures put a scar across the center and flattened it.

I told her she needs a BBL to address the flat buttocks. I also suggested we revise her abdominal scar which was created during one of her other reconstructive procedures. And she wanted a waist again with some good 360 liposuction.

Ironically after our consult she had some doubts that we would deliver a nice result. After we discussed it some more, she proceeded with surgery. She's about 2 months post-op in this photo and is thrilled with her results!

We accomplished the following:
- Pulled her abdominal scar down
- Tightened her re**us (ab) muscles
- Gave her a better looking belly button
- Created a silhouette/hourglass shape
- Rounded the buttocks
- Evened her breast volume asymmetry and revised the left breast scar

This is an upper body lift (breast and back) with arm and forearm reductions combined into one operation. We're able to combine so many procedures at once because we do these in the hospital. Even though patients go home the same day, it is usually safest to do these operations there depending on your medical history and what exactly is being done! L

Another L-brachioplasty with a perfectly placed scar. The incision placement is so important for these surgeries because an improperly placed scar is visible from the back when a patient has their arms down.

In our technique, when the arms are down, the scar is invisible from the front and back. Be careful looking at photos on social media because many surgeons put the scar on the back of the arm which does not show in online photos, but in reality will show when your arm is down by your side - your neutral position.
