Our hearts are pained by the devastation in Maui. Wildfires tore through Lāhainā and it will never be the same. Though we did not live on Maui, we know firsthand the magic that these islands hold. The people, the culture, the Aloha spirit stays with you forever.

In honor of that spirit, I created this design. Stickers are on order and they will be $6 each. DM me for pre-orders. I’ll be sending them out as soon as I receive them. 100% of the net profits will be donated to Maui relief efforts through .

I know those directly affected are forever changed, but my prayer is that they all find the help and relief they all need and deserve. Stay strong, Maui! We love you.

Who else is obsessed with Disney’s Encanto?? 🙋🏻‍♀️ Made especially for a dear friend’s birthday present, I am so thrilled to share this now that they’ve received it. This is the first time in a very long time that I’ve been inspired to create something new.

Real talk: my biggest hurdle with anything is procrastination. There are so many things swirling in my head at any given time, that it’s so easy for me to say, “I’ll get to that later.” From art projects, home projects, getting back into a fitness routine, even just time for myself—I’m always “getting to it later.” Fast forward so many weeks (translation: MONTHS) and my “laters” turn into unfinished or even nevers. 😑

So I’m making the conscious effort to just start. This phrase kept popping up in my head over and over, especially when I’d get down on myself about putting things off and not doing what I was supposed to.

My hope is to be more intentional with everything. To remember to actually start whenever I put something off. It’s a small step to just start, but that single small step leads to bigger actions.

So if you’re like me, I’m hoping this encourages you to just start wherever you are. Whatever you’re putting off will probably not get done right away, but start... and keep going, pals!

Anyone else out there like me who are hardwired to think about and take care of others before we even think of our own well-being? 🙋🏻‍♀️ But in order to properly put forth the effort to care for others, we cannot neglect caring for ourselves along the way.

In this season of waiting, I found myself truly in the valley, wandering and just wanting to find the way out. I neglected myself and days ran together until, finally, I picked up my iPad and just started creating. Out of that sprang forth this notion of fighting for myself, like a soldier.

Self-care isn’t selfish, it’s necessary. It’s why the airplane safety video instructs you to put your mask on before you assist others. Self-care is good for the soul. It recharges you mentally, physically, and spiritually. You wouldn’t let your car run out of gas, so why should *you* let yourself run out of gas?

I kept on creating and these designs are the products of that catharsis. I want them to serve as gentle reminders to keep caring, forgiving, and loving yourself. Give yourself grace, because a lot of times, you’re the one that needs it most.

It’s been quite a while since I’ve posted on this account. Life happens and that has certainly been the case for me. I got caught up in the grind and I lost a lot of myself this last year or two. Suffice it to say, your girl has been going through a lot.

But now that the world has been forced to slow down, it’s given me the much-needed reset I’ve been depriving myself of. I can stop and count my blessings instead of worrying about what I thought I needed.

I found another way to express myself creatively through a medium that requires a lot of time and patience. An exercise in some grace that I’ve been stingy of, especially to myself. Here’s the first finished piece I’ve done and I am officially hooked.

So in times like these, please remember to look at your blessings and be kind to everyone—especially yourself!
