The Rescue Company 1 we provide critical transport education for flight and ground crews, and rescue classes.

The Rescue Company 1 was founded by Carlos Tavarez who was the first Firefighter / Paramedic on scene the night of the Pulse Nightclub shooting in 2016. Carlos had one mission; to train rescue & EMS professionals how to provide excellent treatment and care in difficult situations. At The Rescue Company 1, you will train with the best, so you’re prepared for the worst and "that others may live". Ou

r instructors have multi-years of experience and are all currently active in their field so they can provide you with recent, realistic, and relevant training and an expert education in emergency medicine, flight medicine, emergency rescues, and critical care transports. We pride ourselves in specialized, intensive, and realistic training that goes far beyond a classroom or what you learn online. Classes are open to all EMS and rescue personnel, physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and anyone who is looking to advance their knowledge, skill sets, and take their training to the next level. We also provide training for the everyday citizen who wants to be prepared for a critical incident.

BROWARD AIR MEDICAL IS COMPLETE! 🌊

We have officially wrapped up our intensive 7-day Air Medical Crew Course in Broward, Florida. To say this class showed up and put in the work would be an understatement.

We saved the most demanding challenge for the final day: The Pool. 🏊‍♂️💨

Today, our students transitioned from clinical mastery to pure survival. They spent the day in the water, putting their skills to the ultimate test.

DAY 4 IN THE BOOKS!

Day 4 of our Air Medical in Broward is officially a wrap, and the intensity has reached a new level. Today was about taking everything we’ve learned this week and applying it in the most realistic environment possible.

We continued our high-fidelity Advanced Cadaver Skills lab, allowing students to master the tactile nuances of surgical procedures and difficult airway management. There is no substitute for the true “feel” of human anatomy when you’re making a split-second clinical decision.

At The Rescue Company 1, we believe that “advanced tools are only as good as the hands holding them.” By combining cadaver-based precision with high-stress simulations, we ensure our providers have the muscle memory to perform when the world is spinning around them.

DAY 3 IS A WRAP!

There is no substitute for the real thing. Today in Broward, our Air Medical students moved beyond simulation and into the highest level of clinical training: Advanced Airway and Advanced Skills on human cadavers.

The TRC1 Difference:
We believe that "advanced tools are only as good as the hands holding them." By training on cadavers, our students build the muscle memory and clinical confidence required to perform when the pressure is at its peak and the patient’s life is on the line.
