Child life brought Mateo some toys to play with for our stay. Mateo loves his cars & they definitely help him pass the time and make everything a little better for him especially during isolation. 🫶🏼💪🏼🏎️

Update: We were admitted yesterday due to Mateo having an ANC of 0.2 😞 He did test positive for a virus . He has been doing a little better than before and has been on his routine IV antibiotics. Plus his neupogen shot. Yesterday, he was telling me he feels like the #10 picture (emotionally) . My poor baby 🥺 he is such a sweet strong boy .

Mateo is not feeling so good & has had a low grade fever . We are currently in the ER awaiting results to determine our next steps as usual but he is being so brave and strong. He definitely did not want to come and cried a lot to not come as he doesn’t fully understand we have to come to the ER. I wish I could make it all better but for now he is being my super strong chulo and mommy will always be right by your side 🥺 💪🏼the nurses gave him some little gifts for being brave and he is happy with the Stitch squishy 💙

Mateo spotted this McLaren while we were out a few days ago & it made his day 💛
His 5th birthday is also coming up soon in March & he has requested a supercar/sports car birthday 💚
I definitely got to get started on that 😮‍💨

Mateo is having a fun day at the hospital. He is not on isolation this time and is allowed to leave the room so he has been everywhere enjoying his time to make it go by faster. Being able to walk around and do things definitely makes it a little bit easier to get through the hospital days 🫶🏼💪🏼

Update : We have been admitted as Mateo’s ANC was only 0.2 . 😞 He is now getting some much needed rest after a very long day for him . 😴

Hi everyone, Mateo started feeling down yesterday & overnight he caught a fever . So we are currently at the ER waiting to see our next steps. He is having some fun playing with play doh and cars while waiting. & even got a Mickey Mouse that was able to put a smile on his face 🥰
