And if you’d like further support and balance around that, consider acupuncture. I love Traditional Chinese Medicine and how it supports your emotions even as a subtle nuance to a profound shift. It is different for everyone. You are your own healer, the needles allow it to happen. Did you know the gallbladder is related to decision making, the liver is related to irritation and anger, the spleen is related to over thinking, the kidneys are related to fear, the lungs are related to sadness and grief and the heart is related to excess excitement or overjoy when these organs are out of balance. Come feel supported by your body and mind in balance. Illustration

Such a good reminder! It’s amazing how a little time away can bring clarity to what’s really important. Even if it’s just an hour break in your day for acupuncture to reset your nervous system. But a wellness retreat would really do it. www.helloholisticretreats.com

I’m amazed at how fresh and divine the quality of food is in Italy 🇮🇹. Like local, farm raised without pesticides, antibiotics and hormones. I never needed any digestive enzymes, I had tons of energy without caffeine (decaf cappuccino’s with rich cream will be missed) and felt great the whole time there. I knew I had to nourish my body as best as possible now that I’m home. First thing I did was go to the Winter Park Farmer’s Market to get and from and then went to Morganic Meats for fresh local pure beef 🥩 and vegetables. 🥕🥔 🧅 Let’s just say Too bad my olive oil didn’t arrive yet.

I took a lovely walk at the end of the day through hills and valleys always next to the forest. This feed my heart and soul to be in nature like this and got a good heart pumping 3k walk in as the sun was setting. I love nature and was completely engulfed in its beauty.

Every cosmetic acupuncture session is designed to support your natural radiance — inside and out. 🌸

I love when patients notice not only visible results, but also the deeper sense of whole-body wellness that acupuncture brings. Your skin tells a story your whole body helps write. 🪷

Thank you for trusting me with your care and sharing your experience — it truly means the world. 💖. I love what I do and enjoy explaining which points I am using and why— because understanding the process helps deepen the shift your body can make towards optimal wellness. 🌸

On my morning walk I discovered some schisandra berries known as Wu wei zi in Traditional Chinese Medicine which are so common in many formulas because they enter the heart, lung and kidney channels. Dried schisandra is good for helping the lung qi to stop coughs and asthma, inhibits excessive sweating and generates fluids, and quiets the spirit while calming and containing the heart qi, which is good for irritability, palpitations, dream disturbed sleep, and insomnia from deficiency of blood and yin of heart and kidneys. This is not medical advice but for educational purposes only. See your local Acupuncture Physician for the right herbal formula for your needs.
